2. The Mark of the Beast Technology
Rev. 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
Rev. 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
There has been no other generation in which this scripture could be fulfilled. Even fifty years ago there were no national let alone world wide systems in place that could track the buying and the selling of every human being on the planet at the same time. But because of the great advancements in technology this is now possible. NOTICE THAT WE ARE NOT SAYING THAT THIS NEW TECHNOLOGY IS BAD. THE BIBLE NEVER SAYS THAT THE TECHNOLOGY TO TRACK WORLD FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS WAS BAD. HOWEVER THE BIBLE DOES GIVE US INSIGHT INTO THE TYPE OF TECHNOLOGY THAT WILL BE NEEDED FOR THE ANTI CHRIST TO RULE THE WORLD. OUR GENERATION IS THE FIRST TO HAVE THIS TECHNOLOGY AVAILABLE. THE ANTI-CHRIST MAY NOT SHOW UP FOR 500 MORE YEARS (I doubt it!) BUT HE WILL USE SOME VERSION OF THE CREDIT CARD/DEBIT CARD SCANNING SYSTEM THAT WE NOW HAVE IN PLACE. More specifically there is a new company named VERICHIP that is producing implants to go under the skin for identification purposes. (Watch Video)
The scripture says that the Beast (Anti-Christ) will cause all to receive a mark… Notice the phrase “cause all….to receive.” This phrase is totally different from “force all to take.” I believe that for years we have seen the Anti-christ like Adolph Hitler. We thought that he would be a tyrant. Yet tyranny has never been able to conquer the world. There was always a Nation or group who would rise to contest Communism and tyrannical leadership. I believe that the Beast will have some of those characteristics underneath the surface, but I believe that his outward appearance will be that of a savior and hero. He will be a convincing humanitarian and he will “cause” all to “receive” his agenda. If I want to I can try to force my children to eat vegetables—they probably will not eat much of them. They will definitely learn to hate them. But if I make a very pleasant game of eating the vegetables, the will in the future beg for the game saying “daddy, daddy, lets play the vegetable game.” When this happens I have just “caused” them to “receive.” I believe that the beast will convince people of the benefit to having the mark, that they will be aggressively seeking the mark and proud to have it. Remember the Anti-Christ will be worshipped, he is a false Messiah and Christ, so he will win the favor of the people. According to one pastor, favor comes from solving a problem. Therefore the Beast will be perceived as a problem-solver and his World Economic Plan will be greatly received. One problem that I perceive will be solved by the “mark” is that terrorist will not be able to hide because every transaction would be tracked therefore you would be able to easily locate the last place they purchased anything. Another problem solved would credit card and identity fraud. No one would able to steal your credit cards and used them because your money would be in your body instead of on your body. The mark will be placed “in your hand or forehead” so no one would be able to steal your money or credit card. Here is a list of problems that the mark would potentially solve.
