The other day I ran into a woman who was explaining an incident that happen at her daughter’s high school. She explained how her daughter and friends had gotten into trouble for “mooning” some other students. I was waiting to hear embarrassment in her voice, or to hear that she severely punished her daughter, or even that the girl’s father was so outraged that he couldn’t be contained, but instead she said “yeah I didnt see the big deal; my daughter will show anybody her -ss, so what?” This broke my heart. I knew this lady and had done business with her and I couldn’t believe my ears. Her and her husband were middle class professionals like myself, yet we were miles apart morally. Sometimes I wonder where i have been the last twenty years. Because it is almost like, I stayed in the word trying to live for Christ, focussing on my assignment and ministry and then I look up years later only to find that everything around me has changed so drastically that I can’t even relate (not even a little bit). I don’t care how many times they show it on tv, how many “Chuck and Larry’s” or “Broke Back Mountains”, how many Bishops or Prophetesses get caught on video tape having homosexual relations- I cannot accept it. Yet, because the church has ‘watered-down” its message and lost its influence (saltiness), the world has slid into a moral sewer. Now the most debased and lude acts are now “vogue” or the “in thing.”

There is no secret that we are living in a moral sewer.
We boast of our freedom and right to kill unborn]
babies.
Yet lock Michael Vick up for dog fighting.
It is unbelievable the amount of College Educated
officials who speak openly in the affirmative of killing
babies in the womb, even to the eighth month.
These same people are against capital punishment for
a man that rapes and kills 10 women. Kill the
innocent; but let the guilty live?
We are truly the generation that spoken of in the
following scripture:
Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and
good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for
darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for
bitter!
